Working with Pain Relief & Chronic Illness Recovery using natural physical therapies.
Tight, strained or injured muscles will cause postural imbalances over time and cause reduction of normal joint movement which may lead to more serious symptoms. When muscles pull on the skeletal structure (spine or peripheral joints such as hips or shoulders) you may experience deep pain in that joint, referral pain in a leg or arm, reduction of normal range of movement of a limb or neck, and perhaps numbness or tingling.
The remedial therapist's job is to find these tight locations and release these muscles and thus release the pressure on the nerves so normal function may return.
